VDA at the DAV Patriot Boot Camp | Cincinnati, OH · October 20, 2026

This week, Veteran Debt Assistance (VDA) joined DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the DAV Patriot Boot Camp, where our SVP of Veteran Outreach, Angel Torres, served as a mentor. The Boot Camp is a free, three-day entrepreneurship program for veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses. It offers hands-on coaching, practical guidance, and valuable connections with business leaders, investors, and fellow veterans. Throughout the program, Angel drew on his own leadership experience to work with participants one-on-one. He helped veteran and military-connected entrepreneurs sharpen their ideas and take real steps toward turning their business visions into reality.

Angel’s participation is part of VDA’s broader outreach efforts to expand access to financial education and resources across the veteran community. For many veterans, starting a business also means making important financial decisions, and a strong understanding of debt and personal finances can make all the difference. By connecting with the next generation of veteran business owners, our team aims to help veterans make informed choices and build the financial foundations they need to succeed, both in business and in life beyond the uniform. VDA thanks DAV and every mentor, partner, and volunteer who helped make this year’s Patriot Boot Camp a success. We look forward to continuing to support the veterans and military families we are proud to serve.
